Women's biology changes significantly throughout life, and that calls for its own approach. At Cue Her, we therefore start with what lies beneath the surface: your hormones. Here, Medical Director Laura Kassem explains how the process unfolds, from the first measurement to a plan that evolves with you.
The starting point: hormones are the foundation
Women's biology changes markedly depending on whether you're in the period before menopause, in early menopause, or in the period after. Hormones are what determine it, and even small shifts are something you can feel.
Because many women walk around with symptoms they've been told are completely normal. Poor sleep, joint pain, "it's probably just stress" or "it comes with age." That's why we've chosen to specialize in women's health and look for what lies beneath the surface, in your hormones, your bones, and your circulation.
The approach rests on a simple idea: your body is connected, and hormones are the foundation. So we get the foundation in order first, so we can uncover what makes a difference for you specifically.
Step 1: We get to know you thoroughly
We start by getting to know you. With your consent, we retrieve your previous records from Sundhed.dk, so we can map your medical history and the symptoms you may have learned to live with.
Step 2: Your health assessment
Next, you come in for a thorough evaluation, where we measure both your symptoms and your actual biology:
Blood tests covering more than 60 biomarkers.
A DEXA scan that shows your body composition in detail.
Physical tests that round out the picture.
Step 3: We analyze the full picture
Once we have all your data, we analyze the whole picture, so we can create a tailored plan matched to your wishes. We identify both your risk and where you have the greatest potential.
Then we meet and go through everything we know about your hormones, your nutrition, your sleep, and your lifestyle, and on that basis we build a concrete, personal plan. We prioritize together what we start with, and what can wait.
What makes Cue Her truly different: we retest
Every quarter you come back in for new blood tests, a new DEXA scan, and new physical tests. The results are compared directly with your previous ones, so we can see whether your hormones are stabilizing, whether your sleep is improving, and whether your energy is getting better.
The more data points we have, the better we can adjust your plan, and the better we get to know you.
Everything gathered in your app
From the start, you get access to Cue's app. Here you answer questionnaires, and here you can always see your blood tests, your DEXA scan, and your physical tests. Each time we retest, you can follow the progress directly in the app.
Concierge access all the way
We have what we call concierge access. If you have questions that weren't answered during a consultation, or that come up along the way, you can always write to us and get answers.
This is a personal health picture that continually evolves, so that a year from now you can be in a better place than you are today.
What you get at Cue Her
In short, you get a physician who knows you specifically. Not a standard answer, but a process built around your biology, and a plan that evolves with you over time.
